1st Saturday of the Month: A musical tour de force spanning all eras and areas - Host Tom Nixon of The Nixon Tapes makes the familiar sound unfamiliar and vice versa.

Folk Music Legacy – Then and Now: Co-hosts Art Podell and Jim Moran, together with support and contributions from Joe Frazier and George Grove remember the folk music revival that had its beginnings in the 40’s into the 50’s and early 60’s, the heroes who started it all, the groups that achieved national fame with harmonies that captured America, the many unsung heroes of the era, and the young artists of today who carry the torch. Art Podell is a bona fide Greenwich Village folkie, one-half of the legendary duo Art and Paul and an original member of The New Christy Minstrels, Joe Frazier, current member of the Chad Mitchell Trio, and George Grove, a thirty year mainstay of the incredible Kingston Trio. ‘Professor’ Jim Moran, host and creator of www.compvid101.blogspot.com, ties it all together. Music, memories, and history mixed with good humor and a few laughs.

Rick Frystak is a native of Los Angeles and a 37-year music industry veteran.
He'll be selecting the finest in jazz, string, vocal and ensemble music on vinyl and CD with an accent on early-morning exploration. Rare private pressings along with the latest releases will be featured with special guests and giveaways.
